she got to see her brother today!

I've slacked in blogging but i'm sure you'll all forgive me seeing as my wedding is only 25 days away! I've taken one thing off my plate though, and summer school is over :) The purpose of this post however isn't about wedding plans or school as fun as those things are, but today's post is about Anziano Green. My little brother who left three months ago headed for the mission training center in Provo, left today bound for Italy! I cheated a little and went to the airport to see him off. I found out what time his plane left and with that knowledge alone, Zac and I were up at at em' this morning headed to the airport to hopefully run into him. Here's how it all went down :

Zac picked me up at 8 so that we'd be at the airport about 8:30. We knew his plane left SLC at 11:15 going to Chicago but we had no idea what time the mtc bus would drop off the missionaries or what airline. We got there and found that there were two flights going to Chi town at 11:15. One with Delta at terminal 2 and one with American Airlines at terminal 1. We decided to split up so we could keep an eye out in both places. After nearly 2 hours of waiting and seeing quite a few families sending off their missionaries to other training centers, I looked down the hall and saw a group of young men and women wearing plaques headed my way. Sure enough Ronnie was leading the pack. I jumped up, texted Zac to hurry over, and headed his way.    Ronnie, who was paying more attention to the missionaries with him then his surroundings finally looked up and saw me. His mouth fell open and he froze for a second then continued walking. A big smile came over his face and he started laughing a little. The first words out of his mouth were, " this isn't alllllooooowwwed." He hugged me and I was so excited I was shaking! I was introduced to the other Elders and that's about the time Zac showed up. We talked with him and hung out as they all checked in, weighed their bags, and headed for security. Ronnie is a real life missionary folks! Legit name tags and everything! :) He was so excited to head to Italy and we were SO excited for him and proud of the things he'll do over there. We got a picture of the three of us, he gave me a last hug, and off he went. We watched as they wound their way through the line at security. Already talking to everyone in line, such a missionary! One last wave, I love you, and he was off! I was SOOOO happy we could be there for that and it was the perfect start to my day. Here's the picture of us that we got, and the one I took to text my parents of Ronnie and his companion Anziano Reed :) Rome is getting an awesome missionary and his willingness to serve the Lord will bring so many blessings to so many people and i'm SO proud to be his big sister! :)

Today's a good day! :)

...so many good things are happening!

Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures to go with this one but I need to spread the good news! 1.  Zac passed his national pharmacy tech test! YAY!! This means he just has the state one and he's an official pharmacy technician and hopefully he can find a pharmacy closer to...(this is the other big news) 2. our new place! Yes we found an apartment and the lease is signed!!!  I can start moving in on Wednesday! That's 6 days from now if anyone was wondering ;) and we couldn't be happier! Let the decorating begin!

The wedding plans are coming along and Zac has been a trooper with my stress causing meltdowns. He steps right in and gets things done! That's one of the many things I love about him! 58 days left but who's counting?? July 23rd needs to hurry itself up! EEEEEE!!! :)

...i'm getting MARRIED July 23rd!!!!!

So you know how Disneyland is the "Happiest Place on Earth"?? Well on March 21st it really really reeeeeeeally became the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!! You all know that i'm engaged, but I don't think you all know how exactly it all went down. So here is our story, and a few pictures to go a long with it :)

Mr. Fiance (hehehe) and I were in California for Spring Break. Sunday night we spent the night in Red Town at my dads and woke up early to head down to Disneyland!! My brothers Ronnie and Brandon came with and helped out on the whole surprise. We had the day all planned out and Brandon and I headed to Space Mountain to get fast passes while Ronnie and Zac went to the Blue Bayou to make lunch reservations. We met up with them and headed to Indiana Jones to begin our day. We went on rides with little wait times, ran from CA adventures back to Disneyland in the rain (I did actually enjoy it) and worked up an appetite for lunch. We had a lovely lunch and when exiting the restaurant Zac suggested we go left down the alley ways of the New Orleans section of Disneyland. He quickly suggested we get our picture drawn by a caricature artist and I agreed with no hesitation. Little did I know that previously in the day he had made a reservation with them and set up the whole surprise. The artist took me to this courtyard that was a little more secluded and sat me under this umbrella. There was a pretty staircase and flowers all over :) Zac soon joined me and the artist began to paint. Because it had rained and we were in the shade I was pretty cold so I shivered a little and he did too but little did I know that his shivers were of nervousness and not of being cold. He was being all cute and stuff while my brothers were there taking and pictures. People would wander in and out of the courtyard and some lingered to see the picture completed. Time would pass and Zac would say "wow this is taking longer than I thought it would!" and we'd go back to talking and then after about 35 min the artist said she was done and we could see the final product. We stood up, she turned the picture and BAM!! I saw Zac's caricature on a knee with me by his side. There was a bubble above his head that said "Danielle, will you marry me?" I froze, said "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" and turned to Zac who was now on his knee with a beautiful ring in his hands. I cried, nodded YES because no words would come out, and shook as he put the ring on my finger. We hugged and kissed and everyone clapped :) We were given "Just Engaged" buttons and then began calling friends and family as the courtyard emptied of people. My brother got the whole thing on video where you can see here: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1314177262 . We spent the rest of the day staring at my ring sparkle in the sun and talk about future plans. We could have left Disneyland right after and been perfectly content but we stayed for the World of Color show (AMAAAAZING!) and then headed home to show off my fiance and new ring :) All in all, best day of my life!

I'm the LUCKIEST girl in the whole wide wold!! 119 days..yes I am counting :) Thank you Mr. Rigby for making Disneyland that much more special to me and for choosing me. I love you more than you know and I will forever and ever and ever! I can't wait to "Let the Memories Begin" and start our eternity together :)

... she got great news yesterday!

Seeing how it's been entirely too long since my last post, i've decided to share with all of you the great news I received yesterday. Two weeks from today Mr. Wonderful and I will be enjoying the warm California weather for spring break. I very much look forward to going home and visiting with my friends and family. I'm also SOO very excited to get away with Mr. Rigby. Although this is all super amazing and I can already account for all the fun we will have, my extremely amazing mom has put the cherry on top of what will be a fantastic vacation!

Ever since before I can remember I've been lucky enough to visit the Happiest Place on Earth quite regularly. Unfortunately I havn't been able to go in the past three years. This is where my mom comes in :) she's getting us tickets to go while we're in town! YAYY! I can't even wait!

Can we just fast forward a couple weeks please? I promise I won't complain! Disneyland, here we come!!

P.S. I really REEALLY love Zac hehehe
